After a hiatus of over a year, the Flying Carpet Hub is finally back online!

It was entirely redesigned in order to make it faster and easier to navigate. We hope that you will like it!

The files

All the original files that were hosted on the previous site and were temporarily transferred to Kai's ftp server are now back here.
However, considering the huge amount of files, not all of them are yet featured in articles. They will show up gradually as we re-build the library articles.
But if you are using AIG flightplans, this should not be an issue: all the links to our repaints have been updated and should work seamlessly. Automatic installation via AIFP or OCI will still find the relevant files.

The future

Needless to say, I am very happy to have the Flying Carpet Hub online once again, and being able to host and showcase the outstanding works of the fc75 team! Time permitting, I am planning to add a few features to the site including a regularly updated section providing you with fresh 'news from the ai world' and covering the latest updates on what's going on in the simming world as far as ai is concerned.

Thank you!

I would like to personally thank all those who supported me during this interim period one way or another:

  • Those of you who made a donation last winter towards the restoration of the site. It took much longer than I expected, but your generosity did not go to waste: here we are back, thanks to your contribution.
  • Kai Kamjunke who was kind enough to host the FC75 files on his ftp server. I know that for the end-users, it was not the most user friendly solution, but at least, the files were kept available for download and updated all under one roof.
  • Greg from MAIW without whom this new site would not exist. His kindness and expertise proved invaluable in re-building the Hub!
  • The FC75 team who kept supporting me and waited patiently for the site to re-open.

It is really nice to see that regardless of teams or nationalities, the flight simming community is really one big family!
